Identro uses strictly necessary technologies to operate and secure the Platform. Optional analytics, performance or support technologies are activated only in line with the choices and lawful basis described below.
1. Scope and purpose
This Cookies Policy explains how Identro uses cookies, browser storage, pixels and similar technologies on identro.ng, authenticated dashboards, registration flows and related web applications. It should be read with the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
3. Categories we use

5. Third-party technologies
Where Identro enables an analytics, support, payment, fraud-prevention or communications provider, that provider may place or read a technology only for the approved purpose and subject to contractual and legal safeguards. The active consent interface will be updated before a new non-essential category is enabled. Payment-provider pages may apply their own cookies under their published notices.
6. Sensitive and verification data
Identro does not intentionally store BVN, NIN, biometric images, liveness captures, API verification payloads or full payment-card details in public-site cookies. Sensitive records are processed through authenticated APIs, controlled databases and approved service providers with role-scoped access and audit controls.
7. Your choices
- Accept all optional categories through the consent banner.
- Reject optional categories and continue with strictly necessary technologies only.
- Change your choice by clearing the Identro cookie preference in your browser and revisiting the site.
- Use browser controls to delete or block technologies. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent login, registration, secure transactions or dashboard functions.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. Identro will not load optional analytics through its own application unless the stored preference permits it.
8. Browser signals
Because there is no universally implemented standard for browser ‘Do Not Track’ signals, Identro primarily relies on the choices recorded through its consent interface. Where a legally recognised browser preference signal becomes applicable, Identro will assess and implement it as required.
9. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Policy when technologies, providers, legal requirements or Platform functions change. Material changes affecting optional tracking will be reflected in the consent interface and, where appropriate, notified through the Platform or email.
